Pompeii Angel #2, ed. 15

That
seems so long ago. Since life no longer appears concrete to me, my work
has begun to include double exposures - two realities floating in the same
space. The idea that matter and spirit can entwine is essential to my strategy
for survival. Suddenly life had become less substantial and I understood
that permanence is an illusion created by repetition. Everything seemed
fragile, brought into being by the discrimination and poetry of my perceptions.
An infinity of potential lay within this fragility. These contemplations
are reflected in my photographs.
